Introducing Web3 Design Pal
If you design Web3 interfaces in Figma — portfolio dashboards, token list and table, transaction histories — this plugin was built for frustration that came along building it. Designing for crypto means a lot of placeholder data: wallet addresses, The usual workflow is embarrassing: open a browser tab, visit some generator, copy a fake `0x...` address, paste into Figma, repeat for every text layer. With Figma AI, rewrite content or replace content gets a bit better, when you prompt "Replace addr

Mapping Variable Modes with Component Variants
Last year, Figma introduced a new way to handle light and dark modes: Variable Modes. The promise was clear - design once, switch between modes seamlessly. No more maintaining separate dark mode screens. It is also a scalable system to support breakpoints or event languages. When variable modes launched, I was so excited for the new dawn and say goodbye maintaining two sets of designs. But I faced immediate challenges at work. How should we approach to organise our screens, when there are 10+, 100+, or even 1000+ screens? And does the file structure cope with the development workflow? Here's my struggles & takeaways in organizing Figma. I work at a travel-tech startup right now, and we work on App and Website. Being the principal

Thanks to Figma Plugins, Automated Work Spares More Time For Design
It’s been a while since beta but Figma Plugins is finally here. While Sketch is catching up with their cloud capabilities, Figma has also been working on proper third party support. Figma has become my main design tool over the past year. I have been using it for interface and website design on a daily basis. Our social media and marketing assets are also created in Figma for easy collaboration and bilingual support. (I’m writing another piece to elaborate our process, stay tuned.) After a few w
